I describe this camping spot as a beautiful and lush grove in the rolling prairies on the edge of the Badlands. We camped with our family on an oversize pull-through site with all hookups. There are a number of back-in sites with plenty of mature trees, too. Our site had multiple trees, shrubs and grass like carpet and birds singing all day. You would never know that the wind was blowing outside the property, there is terrific protection from the dense trees bordering the grounds. The new owners are friendly and welcoming. While there, we met the original owners who were staying at the location as they transitioned into their retirement phase. They were enjoying watching the new owners step into their role. This is obviously a product of 17 years of diligent attention to building a lovely destination with lots of hard work and TLC. It is secluded, private and relaxing. Our kids enjoyed our large site, the rambling grounds and a game or two of tether ball. Our little dogs enjoyed the quiet setting and meeting a litter of kittens that were bravely exploring the world outside the barn. Nearby, there is plenty to do and plenty of amenities between here and Drumheller to the east. We will definitely come back and invite friends to join us. It is such a lovely spot within a short, scenic drive from the Calgary area, too. It is a great getaway and even if our friends don't have camp gear, there is a quaint B&B, tiny cabins, and a historic cottage available for guests.

What a great little campground! New owners have taken over and there's a few maintenance and landscape type issues that need some attention, but overall it's a great spot.

There's a good amount of trees to provide shade and it's well located relative to town. The news owners are really nice and seem to genuinely care about the place and your experience there.

What a great place to stay as a family in the Drumheller area. So much better than needing 3 rooms at a hotel. We all stayed in the 1918 Eaton Catalogue House. We had the whole well equiped house! 6 adults, 2 4 year olds, 1 2 year old and baby. Worked out so well that the kids could go to bed and we still could spend time together. Even though its only 20 minutes out of Drumheller it was great drive and nice to get away. The hosts were extremely accommodating and pleasant. I would recommend this place to anyone.
