  I live in Calgary and I still bring my dog to drum for all his vet needs. The staff are super nice and I find the vets really know there stuff. I highly recommend Valley Vet to anyone in Calgary. Sure you have a bit of a drive but you save money on pretty much every service compared to the big city.

  We came in with an emergency and they saw my pup immediately. She was very polite and knowledgeable. Very nice staff. I would willingly drive from Calgary to make this my dogs vet. They also weren't expensive either.

  I cannot recommend the vet services as I have not had to take my dog in for anything medical. However I will not buy anything else from this establishment. Between my wife and I, we have spent hundreds of dollars here without issue until today. I bought a hair brush for my dog at approximately 1:00 PM. Took it home tried it for about 3 mins and he absolutely hated it. We have 1 other brush but it was his puppy brush (small) and he never minded it. I wanted something bigger. Due to him not liking it at all, I thought I would call and get a refund, and purchase the other one that costed alittle bit more. I was informed because I used it once (for 3 mins) that it can no longer be re-sold or re-stocked. I have worked in retail, in fact I've managed in retail aswell, I would never risk losing a customer especially in a small town over $14.95, especially if it was literally an hour ago when the customer made the purchase. If it was a week or even a month and somebody was trying to I would probably still return it just to keep a customer and avoid exactly what I'm doing now "a bad review". While I love Drumheller, this is part of the reason why some people choose to go to the city to do there shopping, poor customer service. In fact I called petsmart in Airdrie before posting this and Dean (inventory Manager) said absolutely he would return the brush in fact they would return "everything" even food within 60 days. This brush is brand new in fact there isn't even any hair on it, yet Donette (Manager), would not return it, end of story, zero customer service. I will never buy (on pricipal) from there again. Again this is not a review on medical services offered but the retail portion only, I've heard only good things about the services they provide animals. This is more so to ensure you be wary when purchasing anything non service related. Thank you for reading.
