Amazing place in Canada. Should visit if you have not been there yet!!. Totally different world from forest world in Alberta.

Lots of room, handicap access, elevators and lots of places to sit and rest between exhibits which are breath taking. Our second time here, I'm 68n my wife 66 and this is our grandson second time here as well he is 11 and he loves it. The outdoor trails are easy and have different trail walks to suit your ability.

We had 4 adults, a 4 year old and a 2 year old (free) and our total came to 70 bucks with the experiences included. Well, the fossil part was closed and only the stinky mineral part was open. Anyway, we chose to just do the admission and not include any experiences. Overall, it was ok. Super small.

Customer service is not their primary goal. It's making a buck. Sadly after paying over $100 to get in with 4 children and several adults, one of the "fossil dig" entrance cards was lost. Despite having a receipt to prove payment of the "fossil dig" experience a 3 year old child was denied entrance to the activity. Speaking with the manager was an exercise in frustration. She said, if you lose the card, you can't enter (keep in mind, that you have already entered the museum but have misplaced the card you clearly have evidence you paid for ). It was believed that another child could pick it up and use it in your stead. So it's fine for someone to "cheat" and get in but if you have proof you paid, you're out of luck. So hold on tight to those cards harried parents! There is no room for error here. And while you're at it, toss out the receipt - it won't do you any good anyway. Certainly not an ounce of kindness to be found. Visit the Royal Tyrrell Museum instead - lots of digging for fossils there and wonderful staff too!

One of the best places to check out if visiting Alberta! Only am 1.5h drive from Calgary. It's amazing to drive basically on fat land to then decend down into the valley. It's cool the explore the areas around the discovery center. You possibly find a fossil! Which is so crazy.
